Went to the city market this morning. Preparing for Leon, Jr ‘s birthday. Wanted to buy some cool foods. Found rhubarb pie and some foods from Sebvia and Croatia etc which seems like it will be similar to Greek foods. I miss the Greek Orthodox Church bazaar. They did not have it this past November. I really miss it. It is one of the nicest events that I have ever been to. I love how they prepare the foods. Excellent prices too. Why does good things have to end. Everytime that I go to the City Market, I think about the Greek Bazaar. I wrote many letters to the Greek Church. I need to do it again. I probably should make up some flyers and remind the community to let the Greek Orthodox Church know how the non Greeks enjoyed the food. If they continue not to have it, they will get out of practice! Churches always need to fundraise. They had a well established ‘gig’. Why why why not get it going again, please
Meanwhile, I will look forward to the special foods that I bought for tomorrow.
